The Three Principles
What are the Three Principles?
A framework for understanding our essential nature, how life works and how we experience reality.
Principles are fundamental elements that cannot be broken down. Just like mass, speed and distance comprise the principles of gravity, the Three Principles are the essential elements of our mental and psychological design.
During a life-changing epiphany, Sydney Banks realized how it is humans have moods, why they experience circumstances differently from others and what is behind moments of clarity, creativity and innovative solutions.
He called these principles spiritual because we cannot see or measure them but we can see the affect of the Three Principles in every aspect of our lives.
The Three Principles
The Principle of Mind
Mind is the formless intelligent energy behind all creation. Nature is the physical form the spiritual energy has taken.
The Principle of Consciousness
Consciousness is the gift of awareness. It allows the recognition of form, form being the expression of Thought.
The Principle of Thought
Thought is the creative agent we use to direct us through life. The Power of Thought is not self-created.
“All three elements – Mind, Consciousness and Thought – are the lifeline to our very existence. It is through these elements that we have the power to realize the very existence of life.” – Sydney Banks, author, The Missing Link
